Assistant Director M&A Lead Advisory (Manufacturing) (Ref : 881410 )

The corporate advisory team of this world leading firm advises clients on acquisitions, disposals, valuation and capital raising. The practice is supported through a matrix structure by a number of specialist industry teams with deep sector expertise and functional specialism covering areas such as valuations, quoted lead advisory and fund placement. Clients include management teams, private equity funds and corporate clients undertaking M &A activity, typically in the £10m to £500m value range.

Since its inception in 2002, the Manufacturing team within Lead Advisory has enjoyed significant success and is looking to grow the team.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the process of delivering high quality client service
• Day to day management control of transactions
• Contribution to marketing and business development opportunities
• The drafting and appraisal of business plans, information memoranda and spreadsheet based financial models

The role often involves working to tight deadlines and working on highly sensitive projects.

Requirements:
• Profound Corporate Finance experience managing deals
• Exposure to working within manufacturing, ideally with some sub-sector expertise
• The self confidence to be involved in business development activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies and sustain relationships with VCs/lawyers/banks
• Experience of presenting to clients and involvement in pitches to win work
• Strong relationships within the investment community
• Negotiation skills in relation to M&A and funding scenarios
• Experience of staff coaching
• Project management and organisational skills
