The business intelligence practice of this leading consultancy seeks several investigations consultants with expertise in investigating and reporting on the background, reputation, business methods, political links and activities of individuals or corporate entities.
Responsibilities:
• Integrity due diligence research and investigation
• Engagement administration
• Online public record research
• Writing detailed and accurate written reports
• Liaising with clients, where required, including the provision of verbal updates
Requirements:
• Good degree (2:1 or above) ideally in international relations, politics, history, languages or any discipline requiring research skills
• A minimum of three years of business intelligence experience with particular experience of integrity due diligence.
• A personal interest in current affairs
• Fluency in written and spoken English and business fluency of at least one other language
• Ability to use own initiative to follow up research leads within set ethical parameters.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide concise summaries in time critical scenarios.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to switch between multiple assignments and respond to unexpected deadlines and priorities.
• Familiarity with research databases (such as Factiva, NexisLexis and Datastar) is desirable, although not essential
