£80,000 - £100,000 base package + bonus
Our client is the Capital Advisory practice of a global firm. To continue its successful growth it is interested in management level corporate/investment banking candidates for the position of Assistant Director. The position involves the following responsibilities:
• Manage Debt Advisory engagements, including resolution of project issues.
• Provide debt market updates, debt structuring and debt pricing guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain and enhance existing relationships with lenders and other lending intermediaries.
• Undertake the management of the Debt Advisory project team on a day-to-day basis.
• Assume real ownership of client relationships and projects.
• People management responsibilities covering resource planning and allocation, performance management, support to the appraisal process, training and recommendations for promotion.
• Convert existing opportunities into future Corporate Finance work, and identify new project opportunities.
• Contribute and play an active role in the development of new business relationships, marketing and business proposals.
Required:
• Lending experience from leading transactions for a bank.
• Prior debt restructuring experience, ideally encompassing both cashflow and ABL lending.
• Thorough working knowledge of ‘on-market’ debt terms and conditions for corporate and leveraged lending.
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience.
• Previous transaction leadership experience.
• Knowledge of LMA loan documentation and the execution process.
• Previous staff management or supervisory experience.
• Extensive contacts within UK commercial bank communities.
• A thorough knowledge of relevant regulatory regimes for plc transactions would be beneficial.
