Greenhouse is a charity which creates opportunity for young people living in deprived communities by teaching them positive life skills including discipline, teamwork and self-respect through sport and performing arts. Chartered People is proud to be associated with Greenhouse in 2009/2010.

Why Greenhouse?

• Greenhouse works with 10,000 young people every week in state secondary schools, special schools and community clubs in some of the poorest boroughs of London.
• Research shows that nine out of 10 students recorded a "remarkable improvement in academic performance". Teachers report increased attainment, better attitude and anger control and a halving of poor behaviour reports.
• Greenhouse will seek to match every Chartered People donation through Sport England.

Chartered People is committed to supporting Greenhouse by donating a percentage of its fee income. In doing so, we hope to help Greenhouse in stopping young people going down the route of exclusion, helping them to raise their aspirations and to realise their full potential in life.
