Chartered People was founded in April 2007 by Philip Grinhaff.  An accountant by profession, Phil spent 9 years working in finance for companies including Kleinwort Benson and Merrill Lynch, before joining the recruitment industry in 1996.  He spent the next 12 years working with companies in London and Sydney recruiting senior finance personnel.
